Terms and Conditions:

Do I need a permit to place a dumpster on my property?

Whether or not your rental will require a permit all depends on where you place it. Typically, if your dumpster is being placed on private property, you will not need a permit. If you are, however, planning to have your dumpster dropped in a public area then you likely will need a permit. Your local town hall can help provide you with details.

What is your cancellation policy?

If a customer cancels a dumpster rental with less than a 24-hour advance notice before a scheduled placement or pick-up of the dumpster, the customer will be charged a $75 cancellation fee.

What if I overfill my dumpster?

All materials must stay below the top rail. (Maximum Fill Line Displayed on Dumpster)

If a customer loads tangible personal property, materials, items, junk, and/or debris above the top of the sidewalls of East Coast’s dumpster, East Coast will not pick up its dumpster and the customer will be charged a $150 missed pick-up fee, and a $50 fee per day until the customer removes any excess height.

What happens if I exceed the dumpster’s weight limit?

East Coast cannot lift a dumpster heavier than four (4) tons. If the container is too heavy for the truck to lift, the customer will be charged a $150 no-haul fee, and a $50 fee per day until the customer removes any excess weight.

What if I need to move the dumpster after it is delivered?

A customer is never permitted to move East Coast’s dumpster without East Coast’s prior approval. If a customer moves East Coast’s dumpster without East Coast’s permission, the customer will be charged a $250 moving fee and all costs incurred by East Coast to repair and/or retrieve its dumpster.

If East Coast needs to return to a site to move a dumpster, there will be a $100 fee (after the first drop).

What if East Coast arrives at the site and can’t deliver or pick up the dumpster?

We cannot deliver your dumpster (and you will be charged a $150 trip fee) if:

  • Any vehicles or materials are blocking access.
  • There are low tree branches, low power lines, or the area is uneven or on an incline.

We cannot deliver your dumpster (and you will be charged a $150 trip fee) if:

  • Any vehicles or materials are blocking access.
  • Your dumpster is loaded over the sidewalls, is loaded with prohibited items, or is loaded with extremely heavy materials (i.e., dirt, brick, stone, concrete, etc.) unless otherwise specified on your invoice.
